Voice

Bang! She hears footsteps. She awaits
her fate.

Everything is a blur.........

Did the unthinkable, and felt she had no 
choice.

Tried to raise her voice but it remained 
silent and wouldn’t come to the surface.

“Mam you are under,”..... as she lies
 on the floor covered in crimson red.
