The Lovely Oak
As I sat ‘neath the lovely oak
emerald leaves covered me.
I took out paper and pen
a Robin started to sing.
And a stunning flower nearby
danced to nature’s beat.
Elated she has finally bloomed,
she was adorned in bold colors.
I am in awe as I continue to
write ‘neath the majestic oak.
