Marred Beauty

People say she has a marred face, but her face looks beautiful to me People say that she's too overweight, but I'm attracted to her immensely I'm attracted to her smile, it's so, so sweet I'm attracted to her heart, it's so, so kind I'm attracted to her mind, it's so, so smart I'm attracted to her will, it's incredibly strong So when my baby sometimes gets to feeling down, gets to feeling bad about herself I do the little loving things to try and cheer her up Try to put a smile back on her face, try to make her once again be happy Let her look into my loving eyes, then open up myself, let her come inside and show her exactly what my heart see

That's called unconditional love, hardly ever see it in this day and age of perfection and instant gratification. Good on you!

Ty, Heidi. I agree w/you 100%. True beauty is on the inside. Outward beauty fades w/time. Inner beauty grows over time. Love the love and support, lady. Much love to you and yours.

Hi Freddie, I loved the message within this write. We live in a society where outward beauty is in. People fail to realize that outward beauty doesn't last, but what a person looks like on the inside will never change. Kudos to you for writing such a poem. I hope many will this poem today. A without a doubt seven and a fav:-) Alexis

Ty, Alexis. I just think people ought to look at one another the same way God looks at us. Love you, lady.
