Fading

My cover is worn and torn, and I’m nearly spineless. The ink is barely visible within my fading pages. I dare you to take a look. Read me before I am gone. Alexia, you've perfectly personified what means so much to any poet...a book...it's surreal how many didn't realize it and mistook your poem as a metaphor about yourself, perhaps you did. That would make it a "personification metaphor" Congratulations on your POTD!
