I will not bow
I will not break
To think I might
Is a mistake

I know the truth
it sets me free
No matter what
you think of me!

I'm done with the summer session of teaching. Must hand in my grades sometime early next week. My hubby and daughter will be away from a week or so, and I will be alone. I'm dreading it. I don't do well alone. My teaching schedule doesn't mesh with my husband's travels, so I do get lonely a lot. This time he is going with my daughter to settle her in. She's continuing her studies in Europe, and after having her for a year...it's going to be TOUGH. This is an outlet. I hope I can continue to write. Thanks for your kindness to me. It means a lot. Kisses to Dragon. I've missed reading your escapades on Jack's poems. HUGS

I've written on this verse before. http://www.poetrysoup.com/poem/i_will_not_break_655082 It has over a thousand views. It's a bit harsher than this one, but the verse is still there. I'm glad it was of encouragement to you. I deal with depression, and sometimes, it's really hard to want to go on. Conflict situations and hateful comments really throw me off track, but...I need to survive. I used to have a very close relationship with God. :( It's not what it used to be, and I'm suffering because of it. Still...I know that He loves me...and He won't let me go beyond what I can bear.
