The List
This year is almost over, oh boy the time flew
I wanted to climb Mount Rushmore with my son
But now is not the time I don’t want to catch the flu
The weather is changing, and where on earth is the sun?
The golden orb must be on vacay, it's not even a week
Also, I planned to swim across the vast ocean too
But after I swam a few laps in the pool, I got weak
I had no clue that would happen after lap two
Finally, I canceled my planned adventures one by one, one
Next year I’ll go to the moon and look at Mr. moon and say hi
My list may be extreme, but writing it down feels like I won
And free as a multicolored, majestic bird flying way up high
