Oh Why

The darkness prevails; God's light is dull; oh why
I’m afraid to send my kids to school these days
Sometimes I just sit alone in my bedroom and cry
The darkness prevails; God’s light is dull; oh, why?
As I sat in the still quietness, I let out a big sigh
He sent his word we didn’t comply nor give praise
The darkness prevails; God’s light is dull; oh why
I’m afraid to send my kids to school these days

A very sad and fear-filled write. The times are trying and indeed we need God’s word to set all on the right path. We need the author of the good book. ~ hugs

Go to the store and buy a rubber door jamb for them to carry with them! My grandmother was a schoolteacher who carried a Winchester 30-30 to school with her every day to protect her students, so life is still a risk and we must learn to adapt! Aloha!
