I was alone on this planet of blue
  'Til your pure love showed me the way  
  What you stood for was so solid and true 
     I was alone on this planet of blue 
    But you wooed me until I said "I Do" 
    No longer in my prime, I’m old and gray 
     I was alone on this planet of blue
