Unwritten

Thoughts whirl and twirl in my mind,
as I remain transfixed on the blank page.
I can't make sense of the dialogue.
It’s all jumbled up~ confusion overload,
I can’t decipher words and thoughts.
Until I decode them they’ll remain without
form in my subconscious unwritten.

As writers, we all experience this dilemma. Sometimes like a seed lying buried in the soil for a long time , sprouting after a rain, your unwritten poem may resurrect. Congratulations on your great win, dear Alexis.

In fact, I read your poem in the morning. I wanted to write a comment. I could not do so, as I became a bit busy soon. Coming back - I like your poems very much. This is one of them too. Short and sweet. Beautifully written. Congratulations!

Until I decode them they’ll remain without form in my subconscious unwritten---we have those thoughts from time to time. Well done to address your theme, Alexis.

Sometimes it’s not easy to unravel our thoughts and to get our ideas written down, it’s alike an unfinished jigsaw puzzle when the missing pieces can’t be found. An enjoyable read Alexis, all the best ~ Belle :)
