My heart aches and breaks for innocent lives shed
Darkness is running rampant throughout our land
Lives were lost; the classroom was covered in red 
My heart aches and breaks for innocent lives shed
Our nation is not the same cause our children bled
Those kids was all our kids, we must take a stand

What annoys me Alexis is it's not the first time, how many more innocent children have to die before action is taken. Tom

I too felt so heart broken when I heard this sad news. Blooms nipped in bud... ! What did those innocents do to deserve such a fate....? When classrooms become slaughter houses, where can they seek shelter....? I join with your strong feelings of grief, Alexis, expressed in this heart rending poem....

darkness is running rampant but many hopeful hearts continue to pray for brighter days ahead, we need to bind our love and our prayers together to make a difference dear heart. A well written triolet, but sad :(
