My Heart Aches

My heart aches and breaks for innocent lives shed
Darkness is running rampant throughout our land
Lives were lost; the classroom was covered in red 
My heart aches and breaks for innocent lives shed
Our nation is not the same cause our children bled
Those kids was all our kids, we must take a stand
My heart aches and breaks for innocent lives shed
Darkness is running rampant throughout our land

When classrooms become slaughter houses, where can they seek shelter....? I join with your strong feelings of grief, Alexis, expressed in this heart rending poem....
