Alone

As a youngster, I felt alone to the core, Loneliness filled my very being and soul. Oozing out relentlessly; no peaceful shore, Nurturing and molding me, taking a toll; Every part of me gave in, I had no control. Contest:Try a Quincrosticain Sponsor:Andrea Dietrich 09-24-2023

Sad poem, Alexis. But true to life. Sometimes I feel I should not write sad stories. Maybe I am wrong. Yours is wonderful.

Hi Karen, I did, and it was my lifeline . It allowed me to express all of the feelings I kept bottled up inside. It did wonders for me. I experienced trauma as a kid. A person who I trusted took my innocence away. It messed me up big time. I appreciate that you visted my page.

alone, alienated, and unloved--your words tug the heart, Alexis. Those who have felt such a pain will instantly relate. Evocative write, my friend--succinctly delivered.
