MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT...

AFTER THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS, THE GRAND TOTAL WAS:

 

12 drummers drumming

22 pipers piping

30 lords a leaping

36 ladies dancing

40 maids a milking

42 swans a swimming

42 geese a laying

40 gold-en rings.......

36 calling birds

30 French hens

22 turtle doves

And 12 partridges in a pear tree

 

*Frankly speaking, it was a difficult two weeks. It quickly became stuffy and cramped...For example: Where you gonna put 40 cows? All parties (including me) got VERY grouchy

To make matters worse, one of the leaping lords leapt onto one of the dancing ladies and tried to seduce her; one of the piping pipers got jealous and a HUGE brawl ensued. I incurred minor injuries trying to break it up and I swear I did NOT wrestle with one of the milking maids in spite of what those idiot drumming drummers said

In addition the UPS driver was NOT amused. I offered him some fresh milk and deviled goose eggs and he turned me down on the spot. He had the NERVE to demand one of my golden rings! I refused and then of course, WE got into a fight and both of us ended up in the emergency room

I'm thinking a pair of socks would be nice next year...

Lol great write Tim - have a wonderful festive time - I'm simply having a bird box for the garden and I've had 2 thermal vests from my mother (seriously its what i wanted lol) - family issues take precedent:-( Hugs jan xxx
