Suffer the Little Children

Just an opinion, not a judgment:

The choice is ours, not theirs
Babies do not ask to be born
Thus the most critical decision
that any of us ever make
is whether or not to bring:
a child into this world...

Hi Tim This was great. Yes... an opinion not a judgment but so well put. I stand on your ground of belief. As always, children are the innocent victims of adult mistakes.. even from conception. The Bible is clear on the choice we need to make in this regard. I'm back on the soup after many moons of solitary writing :)

A deeply introspective poem, an intelligent write. You have touched on a universal yet often forgotten aspect of man's existence. Yes, if we can decide to act in such a way that procreation follows, then all other reactions after the news has been announced to confirm the obvious should be dedicated towards nurturing...all other concerns should fade in the background. A 7. Kim :)

Your words come to us as from a wise sage with the voice of an elder and a heart of a child as you transpose emotion to the page. Emile.

Now, that's putting it plainly. So much said and in such a few lines.
