Rubber Soul Memories

Back seat of a '56 Chevy
White with baby blue trim
Cruising out of El Paso town
Headed to the City of Angels
She’s fast asleep on my lap

Glorious western sunrise
Static, crackling AM station
Day Tripper on the radio

Oh, how I love The Beatles! The title caught my attention immediately. This poem is like a time capsule, creating such a wonderfully nostalgic atmosphere in so few lines. So happy to see you are still writing! I've been plagued by writer's block for ages, but you have inspired me to try again.
