Face To Face

Dear God If you blind me I'd still see your beauty I'd still find you through fresh rain on my palm the note of a pianist and song of a bird Through mild perfume of flowers the splash of a wave and wind in my hair Through the blessing of my mother's arms the sun on my face and laughter of each friend Dear God If you mute me I'd still praise you through the voice in my heart the strength in my soul and pen in my hand Dear God If You break me to pieces If the cross is too heavy and the road gets too long If I feel all alone with nobody there I'd still call you Cuz ,what is best for me I do not know What you want from me I cannot understand Yet,I do believe in you I believe in you and in nobody else Yes,I lean on you without knowing how ,when or where Cuz , I know, Cuz you know this tiny dot I live on this daily labyrinth I walk is nothing but a stepping stone nothing but a journey that I oughtn't question Cuz , this devouring needy world is only a salt drop in an ocean compared to eternal happiness You have so long prepared.

Hi, there Charma. Thanks for coming by my little poem today. I actually never left little chocolates under my daughter's pillow. But I should have done that. She was and still is, one of the best daughters a mother could ever have (my son is a different story ahhaha)

I also must give this touching poem a 7 rating, though I'll take a step beyond and add it to my favs. too. I thought it was for the contest (why not!) till I read your comments further down. It is a poem that really flows from the heart. Well done, Charm. // paul

this is so inspiring as if God himself guided your hand. i just love how every word finds it own place on the page and you know that is exactly where it belongs. and you know that there could not be one word less or one word more. i read this and i feel what everyone must feel like it was written for my eyes only. thank you from my heart to yours for this very special piece. lots of love.
