Once a Goddess of Evening
Once a Goddess of Evening
I miss the placid lavendar dusks
tinged with cerulean mist
and watching spiders
weaving gossamer into faint
whispers of evening
How I would dally,
dressed in velvet and pearls
dangling emeralds on
golden swirls to
entice new tomorrows
into this sultry,
waiting world
