My biography will be very limited for now.   Here , I can express myself in poetic form but in real life I much rather prefer to be far less forward  I am a 60 year old American citizen , born and raised in the glorious South! A heritage that I am very proud of and thank God for as it is a blessing indeed ~

Currently married to my beautiful young wife(Riza) a lovely filipina  lady and we have a fantastic 7 year old son, Justin ~

I have truly lived a very wild life as a younger man but now find myself finally very happily settled down for the duration of my life~

I decided to rest here and express myself with hopes that it may in some way help others, for I see here a very diverse  and fine gathering of poets, artists, and caring folks~

Quickly finding friends here that amaze me with such great talent~~

I invite any and all to comment on my writes and send me soup mail to discuss

whatever seems important to them ~

This Is A Brief Note To Any That May Care

Blog Posted:1/9/2019 7:46:00 AM

This is a brief note to any that may care, my friends and readers
of my poetry that find some value/pleasure/entertainment in it.
I have started my series of poems dedicated to very famous
and truly magnificently great poets. Just finished my second
one and I will start my third one tonight.
I did this many decades ago, doing 20 famous poets with two poems
written on(dedicated to) each poet. Those poems were stolen and burned.
I will only do one poem each artist this time and I will present
one a week here after finishing, this soon to be started third one.
I hope to contribute something of value and perhaps even bring readers
new information on poets they do not know of or maybe have scant
knowledge of.
It is possible due to ill health, that I may scale back to doing ten
poets instead of the twenty that I once did in my youth.
Thanks for reading and hope you may enjoy this task I have set myself
to do again these many decades later. I realise this task may prove to be too hard for me, yet I feel that I must give it a shot.
Comments are welcomed, if one cares to discuss or expressed their opinion in any way..As have always found great value in the insight , wisdom and writing talents of the many very fine poets that present their works here. Feel free to soupmail me as well if so inclined.

Edit

Below are the first ten famous poets that I shall write dedication poems to.
Written to honor the magnificent poetry they wrote and the majestic inspiration,
beauty and pleasure each has given to millions worldwide.
Poem written by me, not to try to mimic or copy their style but instead written
after reading several of each poet's poems and from the poetic inspiration thereby
received. I start with my favorite poet, Lord Byron (George Gordon) writing two
sonnets for to honor him and his exquisite poetry.
If this all goes well, I may be able to do the other ten great poets, reaching my goal of matching the 20 that I did back in my youth.

1. Lord Byron (George Gordon), 2. Percy Bysshe Shelley, 3. Edgar Allan Poe, 4. Frank L. Stanton, 5. Samuel Taylor Coleridge
6. Emily Dickinson 7. John Keats 8. W.B Yeats 9. William Wordsworth 10. Elizabeth Barrett Browning

With only one exception, you chose some of my all-time favorite for your dedication series. Robert. As suggested, I will check out the Loyd Byron tribute now. My compliments on a worthy endeavor. Should you ever wish to co-write on Shelley, Coleridge or Dickinson at some future point, I would be honored to join you. Hugs, Carolyn
