For You My Love Through Hell I'D Gladly March

For You My Love Through Hell I'd Gladly March When mother earth into blue sky enfolds And the oceans dance to a lively tune The tiny, tiny mouse grows ever bold Lion growls angrily at the weeping moon Life spins its mysteries and Hope returns Nights tender touch gives a sweet splash, fresh kiss Midnight clock awaits love's fantastic burn Such romance this begging heart does not miss. When mother earth eats a ravishing sky And you my love, will find me here waiting Heart wanting your luscious lips is the why In your rose garden we began dating. First kissed you beneath your garden's arch. For you my sweet love through Hell I would march! Robert J. Lindley. Sonnet

Robert, I had to save this one for its level of romanticism. Romeo would've done well to recite your lines to Juliet. Climbed to her on the balcony and stolen her away from their disapproving families in Verona. Mother Earth could've devoured the ravishing sky and they'd have lived and loved together to not care.

Thank you, my good friend. Your comment is so truly appreciated. I was in love with her but it just couldnt work out for us. She went away and made a great life for herself. God bless.

Sad thing is at that time in my life, I simply couldn't change me. And yes, I did try...

Thank you, my friend. Your comment is a treasure to me. As this was a love poem composed about a very beautiful lady I once dated long ago. She wisely dumped me because in my youth I was just too wild and hung with very bad people. She went back to California, finished college and got married. I lost her due to my wild/fighting ways. So love truly does not conquer all. God bless.

Thank you, my friend. I believe this one was written in 1971 or else 1972. I was either 17 or 18 back then. Just starting to get serious about my poetry. This was written about a very beautiful girl that eventually got away from me and my very wild ways back then. God bless.
