As God Of Love Brilliantly Blessed Light Cast Its Glow Upon Me

As God of Love brilliantly blessed light cast its glow upon me
My fertile trees waved their waving blossoms in great release
An aroma of perfumed air breath cast its great heart anew
Suddenly there on the sandy beach my new darling stood
The cool gentle breeze its dear arms wrapped her right on up
She stood there as goddess with long windblown blond hair
My excited heart felt as if was going to explode!
My thinking was this, man could it be, she is that true one
Awestruck, I could only think as I could not dare to speak!

Struck dumb by such very rare beauty is strange way to be
So true, tis like a new bright cloud zaps ones exploding heart
Time stands still, stunned mind races into golden Heaven
Oh my, did that goddess just look over and wave at me!
I simply cannot believe it, did that sexy girl see
I do not know how long I was frozen like a statue
As senses returned, I somehow managed to wave back!

Was this a dream, a mirage, did my deceiving eyes lie
Had hope, sincere prayer finally to me came to be
This was it, I felt uncontrollable urge to find out
With tinge of fear, I thought nothing venture, nothing gained
I walked that short distance which seemed like a long mile
She was there, a tall goddess not even looking my way
With greatest hope in my hard beating breast, I said hello.

Dearest friend, your tender heart beats through every line and in your beautifully confessed story that I relate to so easily. Thank you for this lovely gift spoken in poetic love for your wife. Know you remain in my thoughts and prayers! Blessings of continual comfort to you!

Thank you, my friend. These verses came from a real heart, that was totally in love with a real beautiful girl. And one that was so every kind to everybody. That was her basic Nature. Losing her almost destroyed me.. God bless you.

Charming write my friend. Your story I read with anticipation and your ending hello now raises the allure-- to find out out more of this romantic episode. Will the tall goddess speak of love or will she...?

On your question- maybe.. I may decide to write the part two if some great verses come to me. Truth is, we had 17 fantastic and beautiful years together before she passed in Feb. of 2022.. I still miss her every day.. God bless you..

Sweetly romantic Robert. Is this a poetic tale of your first meet with your dear departed? Or completely fictional? Either way, we're eager for part two. I suspect love is on the horizon

The pain still exist but it is on a much lower level as I think of her in Heaven looking down upon Justin and I. She was truly a beautiful soul and as well a very kind soul, my friend. God bless.

Thank you, my friend for commenting. Yes, I met her in the Philippines in May of 2004. So this one is not fictional. I was there, rented a house for 32 days. We married four months later. I think of her every day. We were married for 17 years. And now she is no more. God bless you.
