Her Luscious Lips a Tantalizing Treat

Her Luscious Lips A Tantalizing Treat A gust of cobalt blue winds grace her face Brazen black hair outshines cerculean sky She that dances forth with such princess grace As if she were angel about to fly And the woven gleam from those big blue eyes Her luscious lips a tantalizing treat Holding her so very tight as red sun dies I pray true love never know its defeat Her smile, beautiful as a floating swan She that walks with the air of princess divine She my Bathsheba I her loving Khan And our life, our love making tis so fine On silken sheets our bed bursts into flames. Our life is true grand, as we play no games. Robert J. Lindley, Sonnet Feb. 19th 1975 Note: Written for my beautiful girlfriend Olivia. She that rocks my world.

Thank you, my good friend. This was composed about my first wife that I loved with my all. I was truly head over heels in love with her. I did not use drugs but she did. We divorced two years later, she would not stop drugs and I had had enough of her disappearing acts to go do drugs with whomever. Sad and tragic but true. A man can only stand so much. God bless.

Awwn, such a heartwarming poem this is.. I absolutely love the angelic and heavenly descriptions of your beloved here, so gracefully carved in words.. "A gust of cobalt blue winds", "brazen black hair outshines cerulean sky", "as red sun dies", "her smile, beautiful as a floating swan" Such ethereal nuances in this one.. Perfectly elaborating a love-lit ambience.. So beautiful..

Thank you, my friend. I was 21 years old and quite madly in love with her. You see she was my wife at that time. She cheated on me several times and we divorced over it the third time she did it. Sad and tragic... God bless.
