Dear Heart

Dear Heart, you beat in multi-colored hues-
dark red glows love; rose- altruistic care;
but at the same time, radiate rich blues
as loyalty dwells strong and deep in there.

Just like a rainbow, you can wane soft green
to share as your most peaceful, tranquil hue;
then show bright rays of orange-tangerine
when creativity yields great gifts too.

Your golden-yellow blends right in to spread,
as you display bright hope for all to feel.
Throughout my life, past, present, and ahead,
such heartfelt empathies through tints reveal.

Dear heart, both in and out, you're rainbow-lined
and beat in vivid ways that sway and shift.
The spectrum of your colors- unconfined.
Thank you, dear heart, for this unending gift.
