Forget, Not

Memory of faces,
  Maybe even a name,
  Remember the places,
  Seeing so much pain.
  How can we witness,
  In this land of plenty,
  Different hungers that plague,
  Numbers of many.
" Forget, Not", be our Motto,
  After the season of giving,
  Let our gifts continue,
  To give new beginnings.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Oh this is now a fav for me... such punch and such small amount of words to do battle against such things. A wonderful message to keep repeating and repeating. Hugs. Ann
