Ohio Train wreck, toxic plume. Please read my previous blog - Heidi Sands's Blog

The birds have left where I am. ALL BIRDS. I have only seen one in my yard all day today. None on my walk. This is impossible. Very concerning!! None in trees, flying or on ground or singing, etc. This is impossible here! The toxic plume was reported to be moving to my area. I assume that it came through with rain storm yesterday :( There are no squirrels that I usually see regularly either! *Update. There is now toxins from the Ohio plume found in Canada. A tractor trailer truck had toxins frozen from going through ice storm . There are other reports of rainbows. I think in the water like Ohio. From acid rain. This explains why the wildlife fled from here in the Northeast 3 days ago, when it rained. Update: cars were covered with dust in Southern NH . Update: I took down the continual posts about this, so there aren't too many and people may be losing interest. Those included issues with continual lack of wildlife in NH , toxic chemical smell and reactions from the snow fall (after the Ohio Burn plume went North) it happened with following storms. As well as Forestry in Ohio now found hundreds of larger animals dead in 2 Ohio Forests. They tested some and the animals has high toxic levels of chemicals from the train derailment. I am waiting to see what spring will be like here regarding wildlife, birds, plants, flowers, trees, etc.

This past Friday, it was raining there and a group of people in hazmat suits were taking rain samples on campus. This is a horrible disaster like you say. The lack of response and a president not speaking and refusing help is unacceptable. Yes, the plume has now affected other areas. People out of area showed photos of. cars with acid rain all over them. I have no birds or squirrels here still. Just one crow calling. Not getting enough news about it up here but what I have seen or heard is absolutely heartbreaking and terrifying. I can only imagine the feeling of helplessness. There was a big plume from the burn off in Ohio last reported to be going to Vermont and Canada. The dirt beyond the ice in my driveway is black. By the way, I saw photos of cars elsewhere covered with stuff from acid rain. I saw you mention the song *Sound of silence. I love that song, but not this silence from lack of birds!
