If we have our heads
Sleeping on our arms
A tingling numbness
Spreads through our hand

Its uncomfortable
We shake our hand
Till the feelings gone
Then we return to sleep

Yes, that happens and the numbness lasts a while, then passes. You describe it well. Have a nice day :)

Darlene, so true it is. We can also see by the comments that many of us (including yours truly) experience numbness as a result of being in a certain position. It seems to happen a lot. It's likely a message not to be too sedentary.

Dear Darlene, You beautifully capture a simple yet relatable moment of discomfort and relief. The sensation of numbness, often felt when our heads rest on our arms, is something many of us experience but rarely pause to reflect upon. I love how your words bring attention to the fleeting nature of discomfort and comfort in returning to sleep. It's to appreciate the small moments of relief amidst life's discomforts. - Blessings, Daniel

I hate when that arm goes numb. Thus far, no cause for alarm...just temporary from 'sleeping the wrong way.' have a great evening, Sara

Something we all encounter Darlene, feels like your arm has died, thankfully it's only temporary where you've stopped the blood flowing. Tom
