Tom Locraft Iii January 30, 2017 at 7:45 PM I was in an upset mood when I came to this poem. "I know, you gave up. . ." meant to me that I am not trying in life and I took that as a criticism. But I really don't think I have given up, in fact I am doing the darn best I can. You say many times, "I know how you feel. . ." which of course is good, perhaps it's compassion. But I felt a little challenged by that line. I just am not feeling agreeable. Maybe I am going through a bad time. It's not easy to read about.
