Promise

I don't Ike promises:
Someone can have the best intentions,
but life changes, routes change, crisis can happen,
even the length of life is unknown 
Unexpected things can lead a person to change mind

A promise has emphasis,; counted on with heart, mind and soul,
then suddenly broken into pieces, breaking it all
Hurting with a dagger of mistrust that lasts
So please do not make a promise to me
It's not fair to do, when you can't be certain it's true
