Thank you, Darren White, for your help on this poem! A Free Verse Sonnet:
"We all move like the waves in the ocean,
Some begin merging to become as one,
Others crashing hard against each other,
While on occasion drifting off alone.
We all feel with our depths in emotions,
Some will wear them on their sleeve to be seen,
While others hide them deep within themselves,
But feelings can often betray the truth.
We all see in our own unique fashion,
Many see the same and regard its truth,
Some can see the unseen but never speak,
Is seeing believing, or fallacy?
With our combined senses, we still fall short,
Only the soul truly knows of our path."
