Beauty That Surrounds
Through endless meadows I walk
immersed in wondrous tall grasses
Yellow, blue, and white wildflowers
sway ever so gently
along with the summer wind
that blows 'cross the bright blue ocean
Over rocky hills and vibrant valleys
rustling leaves amongst mighty sequoia tree tops
Meandering along babbling brooks
and diving down into glorious creek beds.
I stand here and admire the beauty
the beauty you bring
the beauty that surrounds me
the beauty I hear sing
Your gentle gusts sprinkle seeds
throughout the meadow
our meadow
bringing to life new beginnings
allowing nature to flourish
to be enjoyed
by you
by me
by those who are yet to come
by those who'll be created
by those looking at your beauty
and dancing barefoot in your fields
by those rolling in your wildflowers
captured amongst your grasses
basking with all your passion
and immersing themselves gallantly
in all your love
