Decades of writing diaries, journals, short stories, poetry – all for my own pleasure. Some overlap in writing in my professional career of technical, expository, and creative writing. I wrote journals, essays, magazine articles and developed content. I proofread, edited, checked grammar, syntax, and style of thousands of pages of hundreds of authors’ work, to include my own. Now, I enjoy doing those things on contract or pro bono. And, these days, I devote as much time as I can carve out for my own creative writing.

Linda is what I am called.
It is a name given by my father.
Not Kathleen as my mother thought.
Dirty trick, some would say,
Although my mother loved the last-minute change.
Alice is from my grandmother,
Loving in every way.
It suits me and I use it still,
Coveting time spent with her and
Enjoying her quick wit.
Following along my poetic journey,
Obviously your choice,
Will without doubt bring some fun,
Learning my passions and quirks.
Everyone is invited to
Release a smile, a tear, or two.
