The Right Path
Ripples of waves across the bay
Bring me gratitude for the day
Blue water and sky surround me
As I think of what could be
I reflect back on a moment
When thoughts came to leave where I went
So many doors had closed those days
Many things wrong, multiple ways
So, I left in a hurry then
Not knowing where I'd be or when
It turns out to be a blessing
I may not have lived, now I sing
Closed doors are messages to see
It's the wrong path for me to be
So instead of disappointment
I take guidance from where I went
I find life changes that go well
Show the path is right, time does tell
