Nourishment

Shades of blue spread across the sky
The sun shines over the mountains
The lake reflects colors all around
A clear, cool day, clears my mind
I am grateful to be here to see this
So many times, I could have been stopped
There were often minutes, so close to death
I try to make the best of the time I have
It's not an hourglass I can keep flipping over
But, the importance for me is in the sand that flows
Every day, I try to find a grain of beauty somewhere
No matter what is happening in life...
There will always be pain, times of anger,
A spectrum of emotions from within
There is no perfect happiness or always being fine
There will always be tears for life's hardships
Yet, all tears are healing like nourishing rain
So let the rain nourish and beauty flourish
You are part of it, just as I am
Clarity in life like these clear blue skies, exist
Strength comes from within the one who cries
I smile, I cry, I am still and I dance...
and the nourishment becomes my music

This is such a deep, soulful write Heidi and I can feel every word of it in images. I like your ending - Strength comes from within the one who cries I smile, I cry, I am still and I dance... and the nourishment becomes my music. Hugs Maria PS does your bear of a few years ago still visit you - Just curious.

Thank you so much Maria. Sadly, I don't know if the bear returned to visit. I lost my home due to toxins from the train derailment. I hope you are well. Take care :)
