The Beautiful Midnight Sky

I walked through the curtain of darkness
in the middle of a quiet, beautiful, night
Stars sparkled above, in every direction
Like a fairy, my soul took flight

Home sweet home, people slept, I flew
enjoying all the freedom in mind
It has been a very long journey,
to reach this place where I unwind
