I live in a small seaside town that borders the mighty South Saskatchewan. My childhood was fairly common as from the age of eight, I worked on a clam boat. I learned the value of hard work but was laid off due to the great clam disaster of 1972. I lived with my sister and her two children for a time, untill I got caught stealing a crust of bread to feed my starving nephews. I was sent away and served many years on the rock pile of a French prison. After I was released, I wandered around with no home to go to. I was taken in by a gentle priest who showed me nothing but kindness. I repaid him by stealing two of his silver candlesticks. I was quickly caught by the police and was taken back to the church. The priest lied and told the police they were a gift. I was dumbfounded by his grace.... wait, this doesn't sound right. I may have to think on this a while. I'll get back to you.
