In an Instant

Bird songs instead of beeping machines My body free from tubes and attachments Goodbye to ICU , welcome home in comfort As peace surrounds me and pets love on me Slowly I walk, one step at a time Slowly I do things, one moment at a time I am thankful I lived, my mind is still whirling Everything suddenly happened so fast I am grateful for friends, kind nurses and doctors I cherish each moment, things can change in an instant Heidi Sands 6/9/25 (C)opyright

Yes for sure! Fine one day and in 7 hour surgery the next, then another 3 hour surgery. Perforation and sepsis! Thank you. So glad to be home. I hope all is well :)
