So many times

 
So many times I bled from pain
So many times I cried
So many times I almost died
And I pled, and I pled
So many times, I turned the other cheek
So many times, I was weak
So many times, justice I sought
through all the trauma, I fought

But, so many times are done
I am now rising with the sun
I am now ready for some fun
The tough days will still come,
but less crisis, from where I came from
For this life is all about love
Thyself first, then to truly share far
All will shine for miles, from star to star!

I absolutely love the strength and depth of your words woven here dear heidi! What a powerful poem this is! And i felt the ending the most as yes this life is for love and those so many days of struggles are now over and it reminds me to heal and embrace every moment and be grateful for little things!
