Not all is lost
Colored leaves shimmered in the rain
The beauty could not be washed away
Reflecting in calm dark waters,
a mirror of peace shined through anyway
The fog in silence, drifted around hardened rocks
As if hearts waited to be warmed and minds unblocked
Visual contrast came along with a blending,
as if a divide had now been crossed
Able to see each other's side with understanding
Light is found in darkness, not all is lost
