This appeared on my poem DONT FORGET UKRAINE! I've known Bill for a while and do not think for a second that it is him.

It would appear that either Bill has been hacked or the site has, if it's the latter you might find a similar comment like the one above.

Have contacted admin.

Some one opened up a face book account using my name and my profile picture and are contacting my friends. They did this to Joyce Johnson too and were trying to scam people on her friends list. Joyce is 103 years old and this is such a terrible thing to do to this beautiful lady.

Someone signed up and stole Bills pic pretending to be him but I knew Bill would never write something like that. John Watt and I contacted admin and they kicked the vermin out. Tom

Tom, thanks for posting this. I got a curious message from Bill, totally out of his character: saying “Hit me Baby” and than a number which I traced to a Domino’s Pizza place in S. Wales Australia. I was baffled but now this makes sense. Hope this gets taken care of. I am not on Facebook so I hope I won’t have any other crazy messages. :)Paulette

Paulette, I saw that crazy reply. In fact, I saved a screenshot in case admin needed proof. It was bizarre, saying they had 3 days to live and asking you to call. It was dealt with quickly after Tom and I and others reported to admin, they deleted the bogus account.

I am so glad administration was able to take care of this Tom. I believe I just got hacked on Facebook which is why I rarely visit. There were fraudulent charges on my credit card and I had to close it and get another. Blessings xxoo

Tom, I know for sure this is not Bill Baker, he would never post this garbage. I am going to change my password right away! I don't think PS should allow any accounts with no poems entered ever on this site, obviously this would be an account created by someone up to no good, I will report this also, so sad this is happening on PS and on Facebook, blessings ~Constance

I believe Hackers have put Poetry Soup passwords on the web. Recently, I saw a warning on my Iphone which detects security risks. It flagged my password on Poetry Soup--I changed it but they can hack Poetry Soup again. Check if you have a warning like I had--go to Settings--then scroll down to passwords and you will see which of your passwords are at risk. As FYI-- I have iphone 13--earlier version may not have this feature. Once they get the passwords they can do what Tom has warned us about.

Yes, John, I got a crazy reply from Bill from the “darkest hour” poem…..I actually tried to soupmail him because of the questionable response. I deleted the mail when I read these comments that Tom blogged and saw everyone else has had the experience too. I don’t think I was hacked…..but Bill certainly has been. :)Paulette

I just sent an alert to PS admin and sent you a copy of it in soupmail. It is definitely a spoofer, the ID number on their webpage is different from Bill's ID, and the page says it's from Jamaica.
