The Winter Maker

This should be against the laws of nature Heavy snow in late March should be banned Just when our anxious hearts start to lighten This blast creates another winter wasteland This unsteady mind of mine just can't take it What seems more like half a year of winter It just drags on and on till time ceases Sure would like to talk with the administrator Okay maybe I should relax a wee bit more But the frozen north can be a bit much Too late at my advanced age to be concerned But oldies can sometimes lose touch Sorry for causing concern but says we care Will try to relax more and “Let it be” Sounds like an old Beatles hit from the past They were the absolute one and only

Hello Happy Jack, Well all that snow that covered the ground is melting slowly. It is so nice to see the brown grass again. To listen to the birds sing again. It is music to my ears. Love, Darlene xxxxo-oooo.

Smile. I just heard that Mother Nature is on Menopause. It certainly explains the constant change in the weather. Hmm, I think Spring has arrived. It has for me, anyway. I agree, this could be "an old Beatles hit." May warmer days find you soon. Congratulations Jack, on Poem of the Day. :) Brandy
