Vickie Hurtt - Thayer

     I love animals, I'm a huge lover of nature and especially of wildlife, also music. I paint, illustrate, sketch and try my hand at photography. I have published several short stories and a (not so short story-my autobiography). *The poetry that I write will usually end up in my published novels about life, as well as some of my humble sketches and paintings.

     My fur babies and my husband are my world. I'm intuitive and an analytical person. But, I'm also very outgoing with a huge heart for anyone or anything that is suffering, I'm very compassionate. I'm always looking for new adventures, when we travel, which we do alot of.

     My poetry, painting and writing has been a source of comfort for me. I had a very hard childhood and unsatisfying young adult years, due to abusive relationships. I recovered and moved on and now write about my expierences thru my poetry and books, also thru my paintings. If there is one piece of advice I could give it is the words of Winston Churchill...
