I always say it isn't God's world that is bad its certain horrible people who make the world bad. Your words are powerful and yes make us pause. Your message is strong. Tom, you've done an excellent senryu. We all wish for peace, but it seems that Putin is not interested in it. We will never be able to achieve peace again if we give up.

Could be, Tom, could be. This earth survived Hitler, Stalin...even the painful times of the Inquisition. Putin’s life will end. We keep ignoring the horrors of China .... Buddies of Putin. .. Man since time began, out to destroy one another. No country excepted from this one. .. Being a Christian, God will make that final call.the entire earth will be decimated. The sun, moon and stars will all fall. God far more powerful than Putin. Pangie

Actually, I recall seeing the clock within one second of midnight -- nah, maybe it was within one minute of midnight -- when the former Soviet Union fell, around 1990. I wonder where the U. of Chicago pundits put that second hand now. (Answer: Wherever Putin tells 'em to put it.) ~ Hang in there, Tom. Stiff Upper Lip and all...
