Pain

I feel so empty
I can not cope
My friends are plenty
I just mope

I can not cope
These thoughts in my head
Give me the rope
Wish I was dead

Hurt everything I ever touch
This I know about so much
Thoughts running through my brain
Why do I feel insane

I feel the pain as the blade penetrates
I wish I'd gone with my mates
Yes that's right I've lost good friends
Maybe now this is my end

I know it's a selfish thing
I can hear the angels sing
My mouths gone dry
I begin to cry

I can't cope anymore
Screwed up head that's for sure
Feeling of sadness and remorse
I am no Trojan horse

Empty, scared I feel weak
No wisdom left cannot speak
I'm sorry everyone I need to go
Those that know I now know

Gordon, I sincerely hope this is not true. I battle with depression also. I was recently put on mild antidepressant for seniors, yet the full dose brought on anxiety, so I cut back to half the dose, and I 'think' I am doing fine. For now anyway. If you ever need to talk, just send me a soupmail. Hugs, Catie :-)
