My Futile Search

In my quest after happiness I strayed looking it here and there It remained elusive, often out of reach As the pot of gold at the tip of a rainbow, I looked to the skies seeking it I looked around to trace it I rummaged every heap to find it I dived into every crevice to trap it Now realize, I have looked through Everything, but not in me!

It's funny how sometimes the most obvious place to look is missed; well penned depth to this piece.

Often in desperation, one hungers for answers in faraway realms, not from the inner source where the answers lie. Introspection, a powerful tool. My humble take. Cheers Valsa!

Profound and elegant writing, Valsa. Happiness, in fact, is found within our own souls. Happiness is almost guaranteed if they can come to terms with one another. Best regards dear friend

Lucky the person who as St Paul wrote. "That I may come to you with joy, by the will of God, and may be refreshed with you." [Romans 15:32]

Of course it was there all along, within ourselves. We can only be happy if our soul and heart are happy. Tom

Such an interesting write dear Valsa... Yes, many times, we search for happiness everywhere else except our own mind... Just like searching for God everywhere, forgetting or not realizing for a moment that God resides in our own soul... Best wishes for a beautiful day and hugs my friend... ~ Ani
