Santa fell off the roof and broke his back And on his head fell a large heavy sack The shock of it was too great And Santa met with his fate Cos' he died from a fatal heart attack. All over the world the good girls and boys Will rush downstairs , but alas no surprise The children will shed a tear Because no presents this year They'll just have to make do with last year's toys. Written on 29th November 2022

I like this. I wrote about Santa not delivering toys because he got too drunk driving his sleigh and someone commented limericks are supposed to be funny, not sad. Good grief.

Your last Santa limerick butt cracked me up and now you killed him? Does that mean we shouldn't bash him anymore in limericks? Nah... we've still lots of days to write about him. If he can circle the world in one night, he must have connections to hook him up with another life.
