Oooops! When Posted poems have errors

 Oh noooo!  Just discovered my poem Mother Nature Draws the Dawn had one typo early on, But THEN WAS MISSING THE LAST FOUR LINES and as we all know, the power of the a poem is completed in its ending!

Don't know about the rest of you, but i'd Love if anyone used their comment to point me to a typo or a double posting, or when something seems missing, or even when a singular subject has a plural verb.  Heaven knows we are all educated enough to realize such errors happen in a rush to post and are not intentional.  Sorry to all who read my poem sans its end!  
and feel free to comment on my errors.  Am i alone in this?

Hello Sally no you are not alone on this. I make mistakes to. Sometimes I catch them other times someone tells me. Then I correct them Hugs. /Darlene/

A good rule is to notify the poet by soupmail or by email if you have their address.. I consistently have spelling errors. A combination of poor vision and aging. Also, if they are using the wrong form. That happened to me ..twice out of over 5,000 poems. Mistakes are not done on purpose. We are human beings Panagiota xx

Sorry Sally I didn't pick any errors. I am not the best speller, and because Aussie spelling is different, I rarely pick spelling mistakes in other's poetry. I always do Soup Mail if I see an obvious error in any one's work, and politely ask if it was meant.

Nope, you're not alone, Sally. It happens to all of us from time to time. I'm more likely to end up with an autocorrect error in my poem, especially when I'm writing in haste with my IPad to make a close-to-closing contest.

It's a kind gesture to point out typos or any other mistake that a poet has made on a post. Even kinder to do it privately through soup mail or an email. I've been grateful each time I was given a heads up.

Good to meet you, Roger. I am glad for the edit ability. I do tend to over worry about my poems. They’re often like my young charges possibly going out without tbeir pants on! Hmm, thanks for ur nice comment.
