Just beyond the silence, a secret
Blowing, breathless, through the spirit
Sweetening moments, preparing
Laughing kisses, reassurance
That forever lives, steadily coloring
Skies and seas in hues of beautiful,
Hues of dreams – hues of gentlest peace
Just beyond the moments, joy
Pouring out like a summer rainfall,
Blending with mysteries, inspirations
Alive as the breath that comes from
Knowing this music, this dance
Flowing from the spirit, inner tenderness
Affections like rainbows, still life
Reasons to listen to the grace, the subtle
Change between light and dusk,
The dusty promises from a perceptive
Sunset, with it’s hints of blushing
Tangerine and rose, softly glowing
In melancholic hopes
Just beyond the forever, racing
Through the oaks, the pines bent
To betray the falling flavors of amber
Gold and scarlet whispers, so gracefully
Talking up a storm, vibrating, trembling
With the imaginary touch of a force
Nature beckoning, inviting the most still,
The most quiet ones – like leaves falling
Among the promises, stirring up delightful
Thoughts, pieces of a prayer, a promise
Weighed by notes, musical fantasies arising
Kindness on the horizon – graceful yearnings
Foretelling the good, the great, the glorious
Days before autumn parades it’s chilling
Temptations, exasperating laughter, healing
Yet embracing the very summer, the heat
The falling rain, teasing away the last echoes
Of last season’s dusty dreams, breaking
The seams of yesterday when her tears carried
Reasons and broke through passions,
Making memories, dancing through the past
It is here where I find the last of my blessings,
Praying for the weakness’, strengthening
Each faith, every saying – from a soul who knows
It is love that lives…
Just beyond the beautiful,
Just beyond the music,
Just beyond the reasons,
Just beyond the knowing, the fantasy
Flowing like streams of reassurance,
Rivers of grace, feelings – blessings,
Oceans of amazement poured out with the dew,
Tempting away the last of a night who knew…
Only the love of starry thoughts glistening,
Whispering in the night, nocturnal sighs erasing
Every doubt, each loss, every thought of fear…
It is this love, so pure, so real… that carries with it
The message of storybook truths, promises,
Just beyond the ending, there lives a friend, endlessly
Giving away His treasure, His measure of grace,
His forever – as we fall beneath the shadow of His wings,
Always protected, forever comforted, always loved
With a love that can’t be outdone or unrecognized
Just beyond forever… is the giver, the friend, the life without end!
