FAITH IN GOD WHO INSTILLS THAT HE HATES EVIL

July 15 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Proverbs 7-9

Key Verse – Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

FAITH IN GOD WHO INSTILLS THAT HE HATES EVIL God instills in us that He hates evil … for us to abide in His love’s fullness As we surrender to Him midst yielded submissiveness To attend to His Word, declining from worldliness By faith, listening to Him with attentiveness. God instills in us that He hates evil … for us to keep His commandment As we stay in His settlement with earnest commitment To overcome trials along His granted discernment By faith, overcoming impudent enticement. God instills in us that He hates evil … for us to seek His truth’s glow As we stand upon His Scriptures against pain and woe To thank Him for blessings’ flow By faith, conquering carnality’s show. God instills in us that He hates evil … for us to rely on His counsel As we stick on His wisdom along His eternal epistle To lay treasures toward heavenly castle By faith, smiting prayerlessness that brings hassle. God instills in us that He hates evil … for us to depend on His strengthening As we share the Gospel of salvation during soul-winning To rejoice in Him while along His set track, running By faith, following Him, His favour gaining. God instills in us that He hates evil … for us to exalt His holiness’ authority As we serve by His help in our stewardship-sincerity To please Him, agreeing to His sovereignty By faith, doing our very best with His empowered ability. God instills in us that He hates evil … for us to avoid telling lies As we shun hypocrisy that foolishly tries To testify about Him while deceit we despise By faith, ministering with all our heart with genuine sacrifice.
