Puppy Love

Watching your hand slide furtively into hers,
I remembered how awesome puppy love feels
The pink flushes of your cheek, fleeting rushes,
That feeling inside your stomach, when the purrs
Resemble contented kittens sleeping sound.
Meaningful secrets unspoken, quick whispers,
Forbidden notes exchanged in history class
Sweetest sentiments expressed in hasty verse.
When she is near your heart whirls in dancing reels,
Fleeting rushes, the pink flushes of your cheek,
And everything else is life is merely blurs.
