Repossessing Reality

"recently scenes of early life have stolen
into my mind, like breezes blown ..."
      Quote by Samuel Taylor Coleridge

                life the transient tree
where we climbed, fell, grazed our knees
                flesh and blood debris
stirs back up inside of me
             buried childhood memories

Thanks Bill, many ups and downs of early life, can come back to us as we get older, almost as if we’ve purposely reminded ourselves of them, without actually knowing why, is indeed my message here, good to hear from you, cheers David

David! The actualizing of the imagery you present here IS powerful enough to “reposes a memory .” Then to now. I have Fav-Ed this

Heya Sally, thank you so much for understanding the message I’ve tried to portray of repossessing a perhaps lost or buried childhood memory, and I’m delighted with your fav, hope you’re having a relatively pain free day, cheers David

Yep I was lucky on more than one occasion Tom, but this one runs deeper about early life, and perhaps mental scars left behind, that can still surface sometimes, cheers David

I think you just unearthed them for a bit. I hope it wasn't too terribly painful, but if you recalled it, it must've been pretty bad. Boys and tree climbing...(rolling my eyes because I climbed my share of them)

The tree is more metaphoric of the general highs and lows of early life Jenna, was pretty tough at times, and they sometimes stir very strong emotions and questions within me, although I must admit I did fall from many trees, but when healed up went back climbing, cheers David
