First of all, I love the tune you chose... I used to sing our kids to bed with Edelweiss. Your tune matching with lyrics is very nicely done, and I really like the phrase "Evergreens don festive wardrobes" (rhyming it with snowglobes was a brilliant stroke). Your winter and holiday imagery is so wonderful, as is your ending of "keep my heart warm till spring comes" is such a lovely thought. Beautifully crafted and so deserving of POTD acknowledgement.

I do like the snowy images at Christmastime, but only from afar! Snowglobes are something I look for at the holidays too so I thought it would be a good fit - so pleased as always by your visits and warm comments, thank you so much, John~

For me, chocolate and peppermint are the flavors of the holiday season, but chocolate wouldn't work for a winter scene, so I just went with peppermint! Thank you for such a warm and lovely comment, Brandy, am hoping your season is merry and bright and full of peppermint!
