screams pierce the night
primeval mating
wise owls winking

Thanks for your visit to my site. So glad you enjoyed my foxes poem. I enjoy the discipline of Haiku and the need to condense meaning into very few words.

Yep, the owl is always watching, starling us into the open. Sort of like a letter from the IRS. Love it! A lot said with few words. You get a FAVE from me!

Many thanks for your visit Joe and in particular for faveing my foxes poem. Yes, few words, but that’s one of the challenges with haiku, to condense meaning into just three short lines.

Your scream dream may well have contributed Deb, so thanks for that. My poem slightly amended.
